Under the subway bridge
A boy firmly waits
Leaning on the cold concrete
It's such a giant weight
Above, the subway bridges
Aside, the river slowly flows
Inside some faces come
While some faces go
The bridge shakes with the
train
The river sings as it rolls
The boy silently sustains
The boy, himself a pole
The bridge on the boy's
shoulder
A heavy cross, a burden
Together such an odd couple
The bridge and the boy that
cuddle.
